Tip #32 – Three Day Blues

Having a baby is one of the most exciting times for a mother, but it is quite common to suffer from the three day blues, which can last up to two weeks or longer. It can be a little overwhelming to become a mum; all of a sudden you have a new baby who requires all of your attention and depends on you for everything. It is important to share your feelings with someone you can trust. Allow someone to look after your baby in another room while you have a relaxing bath, or sit and read in quiet. You still need some “me” time as well.

Baby SOS discusses more tips on how to help you relax and goes into detail regarding symptoms, treatment and management of postnatal depression.
